I'm applying for the Clinical Dental Hygienist position at Pacific Family Dental. My day-to-day is 10-12 patients per shift across recalls (60 minutes), SRPs (45-minute quadrants), and perio-maintenance in Dentrix with Dexis digital radiography. Over the last two years I led a periodontal program rollout that moved perio-maintenance enrollment from 21% to 38% and lifted SRP case acceptance from 62% to 81% after rebuilding the hygiene-to-restorative handoff. I also built a block-scheduling template that cut the hygiene department's no-show rate from 14% to 6% across two offices. I'm comfortable with ND:YAG laser decontamination, nitrous monitoring, and precepting — I oriented two new-grad hygienists in 2024 and both are still with the practice.
