I'm applying for the Mid-Market CSM position at Linear. I currently manage a $8.4M book across 40 mid-market accounts at Vercel — the same ACV band and customer profile your posting describes — with 118% net retention and 96% gross retention over the last four quarters.
My day-to-day: onboarding top-decile new logos (time-to-first-value dropped from six weeks to 23 days after I rebuilt the kickoff template), partnering with AEs on expansion pipeline ($2.1M sourced, $1.4M closed last year, all within existing book), and running a Gainsight health-score model the team now uses weekly. I came into CS from a sales engineering background, which I think shows in how I write customer updates — specific, technical, and rarely longer than a screen.
Linear's developer-focused CS motion is rare. Most tools treat post-sale as a soft-skill handoff; your product requires CSMs who understand why a team moves off Jira or Asana, and can speak to that credibly. That's the work I want to do next.
